The Brownsville Museum of Fine Art offers a changing exhibition schedule of regional art of South Texas and Mexico and traveling shows from partner museums. Programs for adults and children complement the exhibition scheduled with classes, concerts, and lectures. The Museum’s permanent collection contains work by artists of the region dating back to the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Annual events include International Art Competitions.
